The
Feds
Dave
Campion - Vocals and guitar
Ric Jones - Bass
Jim 'Sly boy' Molyneux - Drums
The
Feds have been playing together for about 5 years since high school.
The band have not played for a while as Dave has been at Uni selling
his soul to the man.
Drummer Jim 'Slyboy' Molyneux has been playing with his other band,
'Ji' lately, who have had success supporting Raging Speedhorn, Biffy
Clyro, and Toby Jepson.
Ian Crew who some may remember as a temporary member of The Feds has
gone AWOL. The Feds are looking forward to playing gigs again
more regularly in the future.
The band have a loose 'unpractised' sound and don't have any
delusions of grandeur.
The
band attained quite a following at the height of the success
of Band Night despite being told once that 'they would never play in
this town again'.
The
Feds have also played some unmemorable gigs at the Slaughterhouse
and Comrades club. Hopefully the band will be recording this summer.
Other
bands The Feds have (tried) to cover are, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool,
REM,
Nirvana and Pearl Jam. The Feds are also influenced by Mike
Patton, Elton John and drink.
