A
four piece, megadecimal rock machine based in Southport, North West
England. We formed in late 2000, and with a steady influx of of new
material have created our own brand of illogical energy rock.

Being the most untechnical_person_in_the_world I enjoy musicians who
play it
reeeeeaaaal dirty and who manage to show real passion for their
music.
Anything quirky, unexpected, nonsensical, humourous or just makes
you want
to jump around and go "ziiikkareeeki!" I like. Current
favourites: Johnny
Greenwood and Radiohead, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Black Flag, Björk,
Glassjaw,
Pavement, The Pixies, Soundgarden, And You Will Know Us By The Trail
Of
Dead, emocore, Dinosaur Jr., Eddie Vedder and Pearl Jam, Buena Vista
Social
Club, The Flaming Lips, Marvin Gaye.. Aside from musicians, Bill
Hicks,
George Orwell, the work of Ethan & Joel Coen, John Peel, Chris
Morris and
Bill Watterson all inspire me to be creative and try and do
somethink
different.

- Mine's a Müller Thrash Corner
I'm influenced by the whole THRASH scene of the late 80's!! - Tom
Araya,
Jeff Ament, John Paul Jones, Cliff 'em All Burton...
I like playing the bass because if I didn't play it I would get
battered by
the rest of the band - I play the bass OUT OF FEAR! But also because
it's
heavier than the drums and it's great to play thrash classics such
as Angel
of Death on. Bass sounds best when it's being played by redneck
butcher boys
attempting brain surgery i.e. Tom Araya and other thrash metal
bassists such
as those from Megadeth, Anthrax and Exodus.
I wuv Slayer, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Pink Floyd and
Pantera.
I think these are fascist scum: Slipknot, Jonny Roberts, Korn,
A*Teens and
people who don't like dolphins.

Musican Influences: Ian Jump, Pete Stone and Gary Moore
The reason these great guitarists are my main influences are because
through
all the time that i have been playing guitar these men have pushed
me to my
limits of playing their music and brought me up to the standard that
I am
today as their music is full of oddball chords which rock. I have to
say to
any learners out there, learn the basics first of the guitar and
then learn
the modes as they're really important and if you don't know them you
will
always be limited with your song writing and also the theory behind
it all.
Ok ok to end this long speiel of weird arse shit I must say...
Playing
guitar is like making love to a beautiful women. First you must make
sure
you know exactly what you're going to do and dive in hard and fast
and hope
you hit the right notes and when ya coming to the end,
IMPROVISE!!!!!!!
Aaron
- Life Behind The Kit
As a sticksman I draw my influences from a range of drummers; Jimmy
Chamberlain was my first drum hero, the guy who first inspired me to
pick up
the sticks. I as then set on my feet by Luke Blumler of the Leeds
band Mama
Scuba who gave me my first and only drumming lesson as well as
providing me
[near enough] with my my first kit. Since then I have had love
affairs with
Abe Cunningham [Deftones], Lars Ulrich [Metallica] - although he is
a little
git, and Angie Walker [Monkey Steals The Drum] - thanks Angie. In
general
though, any drummer who shows relentless energy and innovation will
get my
knobs turning. As a musician, any groups who can make effective,
powerful
songs will generally influence me to want to write songs that can
get you
jumping off walls..!
Loves:
At The Drive-In, Muse, Metallica and R.E.M.
Hates:
Slipknot, Stereophonics, Korn and Limp Bizkit.
